I wonder if you could help me delete my account, since I've registered with this account in order to start learning about ruby gems packaging and ruby on rails plugins. I will be using another registered account for developing production ready gems.

My account information is:

user handle / username: pmviva
email: [email blocked]

I have currently pushed only one gem called "vote_system" wich I am the only owner, could it be removed also?

Thanks a lot
Pablo Viva

We don't delete gems from RubyGems.org unless they contain passwords or private data. You can yank the gem, there's an article in the knowledge base. This will free the namespace up.

Someone else will need to help you with deleting your account.

Thanks a lot, I read about the procedure of yanking gems and I've already yanked the published gem.

Regarding the account deletion, if my account is deleted can I register in the future again with the same handle / email if I ever need to? If so (can reuse the handle / email again) would like to be removed, if not (cannot be reused), don't remove it.

    Thank you very much
    Regards
    Pablo

Pablo - yes. Do you still want your account deleted? Sorry about the delay.
