How to find commit that was used to create a release version?
I'd like to backtrack and map gem versions to git commits, is there a method of determining which commit was used to create a released version?

Hi OpenCoderX,
I am afraid there isn't. What I generally do is visit the homepage link, (which tends to be the git repo) and find the commit from there.
