Recently, I started receiving a warning that bundle isn't able to connect to RubyGems. I'm using jRuby engine, and ruby version 2.2.2.

This is occurring when I attempt to deploy the app to Heroku. Heroku appears to be using the Openjdk-8 JVM. This is the error message is receive when attempting to run bundler: "Could not fetch specs from https://rubygems.org/"

I've also attached a log of Heroku build output.

Hi Mike! Sorry you ran into this.. is it still an issue?

    • Can you successfully connect by forcing http://rubygems.org in the gemfile instead?

BTW - looks like that build.log file is some kind of framework file - if you have error log output, you can paste it in directly.
