I am using a RHEL 7 server to host a ruby gems server. This system is not connected to the internet. I am looking for a way to patch the ruby system software as well as the installed gems. I have a way to get new gems onto the server but not able to update them and system software. Currently I am on version 2.7.3.

I have a ruby gems server that is connected to the internet that I can download updates to and move the to the air gap. I just can't get them to update once on the air gapped system

Those steps will allow me to install new gems but not update the ones I have as well as getting the system software updated.

Hmm.. well, I'm afraid I don't really know enough about your specific situation to offer any good advice. The air gap complicates it, but if you can install new gems, you could uninstall the old ones then reinstall the new ones? That's all I got, sorry!
