The gem object_daddy has been abandoned by its maintainer (user
nofxx) for over 2 years now. The maintainer's github repo of the
gem has been deleted, and I can find no working email or means by
which to contact him - the one listed on the rubygems.org page
bounces. It should probably also be pointed out that the maintainer
is in no way associated with the authors, who were actually
surprised to find out a gem version even existed - they had
heretofore been deploying it as a Rails 2-series plugin. I have
their permission to take over maintainership of the gem, and would
be obliged if I could be permitted so to do. My rubygems.org user
id is 44761, and my github.com username is awebneck.

Sorry, this comment was buried in our spam inbox.
I've added nofxx to this discussion. Is there anything we can do
here to help?
