Installation Problem

Hi,
I am a very new in ruby on rails. I want to install this in my machine. But successfully I have installed ruby(1.8.7) and gem (1.8.15). But I am unable to run a program. Please guide me step by step so that I can play with this in future.

    Hello,

    The purpose of this website is provide gem creators support for the gem hosting service and deal with special request of rubygems.org.

    This website does not exist to provide assistance on learning Ruby or Rails.

    There are plenty of books out there that cover what you need, also free tutorials and lot of pages.

    Google is your friend.
