gem activerecord failing
When I go to try and install the activemodel rubygem, I get an issue:
$ gem install activemodel -v 3.2.2 ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError)
Errno::ECONNREFUSED: Connection refused - connect(2) (http://rubygems.org/gems/activemodel-3.2.2.gem)
I tried accessing the download from the rubygems.org page
(http://rubygems.org/gems/activemodel/versions/3.2.2)
and it goes to this link
"http://cachefly.mirrors.rubygems.org/gems/activemodel-3.2.2.gem"
which says "Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at cachefly.mirrors.rubygems.org."
I am not having problems with any other sites, so I don't think it's a firewall issue. Any suggestions?

I'm having the exact same issue (different gem). Oddly, some gems seem to word fine.

Are you still having this problem? Could you run "host cachefly.mirrors.rubygems.org" and tell me what IP you're seeing? Cachefly is a mirroring CDN we're currently testing and you seem to be having issues with it.

It's working for me now. It was definitely failing at least until noon central time.
Running host cachefly.mirrors.rubygems.org says that it's an alias for rubygems.cachefly.net with an address of 205.234.175
