Want to update a gem I don't own

Much like the discussion here (http://groups.google.com/group/gemcutter/browse_thread/thread/b457b...).

https://rubygems.org/gems/podcast has not been touched since 2005.
It stopped working with newer versions of Ruby.
I have a new working version at https://github.com/boncey/ruby-podcast - naturally I want to publish it to rubygems.

I've made several attempts to contact the authors (via rubyforge, email and twitter) and have had no response.
My rubygems username is 'boncey'.

    I've added the two users of the podcast gem to this discussion...if you need to transfer ownership of the gem, here's what to run:
