HItting the API returns the latest version as well: <a href=
"https://rubygems.org/api/v1/versions/rainbros.json">https://rubygems.org/api/v1/versions/rainbros.json</a>.</p>
<p>However, gem list -r rainbros returns the following:</p>
<p><strong><em>REMOTE GEMS</em></strong></p>
<p>rainbros (0.0.2)</p>
<p>This means that running <code>gem install rainbros</code>
installs an old version. Any ideas? I wasn't under the impression
that there was any real lag time between cutting a new release and
