As a temporary solution if your gem located @ github, you can
clone source code via git or download as zip and build you gem
locally.

Example:

Checked out https://github.com/guard/guard-coffeedripper
to directory

Cd to directory and do "gem build
guard-coffeedripper.gemsepc"

Do 'gem install guard-coffeedripper-0.1.3.gem'

Hope it helps!
Happy new year!

oh noestag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/125820762012-01-01T12:38:33Z2012-01-01T12:38:34Zrubygems down

How to avoid bundler being your single point of failure
