the following:</p>
<p>$ gem list --remote rubygems-update</p>
<p><strong><em>REMOTE GEMS</em></strong></p>
<p>rubygems-update (1.8.2, 1.5.0)<br>
$</p>
<p>Today, 1.4.0 is also in the list.<br>

there. Next time try <code>gem sources -c</code> if that goes
