Pushed gem not working after a while

Hi guys,

I pushed a gem "carrierwave" about 2 hours ago, but I'm still not able to install it from rubygems.org:

~/code/carrierwave[master] > gem install carrierwave --version=0.5.3 ERROR: Could not find a valid gem 'carrierwave' (= 0.5.3) in any repository
ERROR: Possible alternatives: carrierwave

I wonder if there's a way to check if the push failed somehow, or does this just take a long while sometimes? I remember it taking much less time a few months ago.
