Cannot login/reset password after signup returned 500 error

I tried to sign up with the handle asceth and got an internal server error. Trying to login says bad email or password and trying a password reset says unknown email. If I try to sign up again it says handle is already taken like it accepted the first sign up but somehow doesn't see the account.

   You can close this issue. Seems I must have had a rubyforge account. I was able to find the correct email and reset my password. However the first time I tried to sign up I received a 500 internal server error instead of "handle already taken" like I would expect.
