Hello,

On one of our hosts, during the Chef-run we get the error 'Too Many Requests 429 (https://api.rubygems.org/api/v1/dependencies?gems=aws-sdk-codedeploy)'

I have tried running manually the offending command ('/usr/bin/gem install aws-sdk -q --no-rdoc --no-ri -v "3.0.1"') and I get the error above.

But if I try to fetch the file using wget, it 'succeeds'... I mean I get some output that appears to be coherent:
'[{ : nameI"aws-sdk-elasticache:ET: platformI" ruby;T:dependencies[[I"aws-sigv4;TI""1.0.0.rc8;T: ~> 1.0;T[I"aws-sdk-core;TI"~> 3.0.0.rc16;T{ ;I"aws-sdk-elasticache;T;I"1.0.0.rc2;TI" ruby;T; [[I"aws-sigv4;TI"'

I would really need to be able to run this via my chef-client run, are there any workaround solution to self-hosting/gemstash?

thx,
Martin

Thank you for your patience with this tardy response. Is this still an issue that I can help you with?

Hey, thanks for getting back to us, in any event. :) We have remediated
the issue through a different design. Thanks for all that RubyGems.org
does for the software communities it serves. :D
