I am having trouble installing gems. The error thrown is

WARNING: Unable to pull data from 'http://tokyo-m.rubygems.org/': timed out (http://tokyo-m.rubygems.org/specs.4.8.gz)

I tried adding a --source switch, it worked for one gem, but the same error again.

$ gem install yajl-ruby bundler --source https://rubygems.org
Fetching: yajl-ruby-1.3.0.gem (100%)
Building native extensions. This could take a while...
Successfully installed yajl-ruby-1.3.0
WARNING: Unable to pull data from 'http://tokyo-m.rubygems.org/': timed out (http://tokyo-m.rubygems.org/specs.4.8.gz)

The status page shows everything normal. Am I missing something here

    Looks like that mirror is having issues right now. Try removing the tokyo-m.rubygem.sorg source from your system completely and just using rubygems.org.

    Hi

    Thank you very much for the reply.

    I figured out a way around. I deleted the tokyo source and added the bare
    https://rubygems.org. Things started working fine.

    The problem was also that the tokyo source url was http for some reason
    (not https). I dont think I added it manually.

    Thanks again

    Regards
