I would like to take ownership

Hi,

I am working on a project that uses the eztv gem.

The gem on ruby gems ( 0.0.2 ) no longer works

The gem has not been updated in 3+ years

There is a newer version on the gem owner's github page ( 0.0.3
) that also hasn't been updated in years. This version also no
longer works: https://github.com/DamirSvrtan/eztv

I have forked this gem, gotten it working again, and made
improvements. I have asked for a pull request and haven't gotten a
response.

I have requested to be added to the gem via 'gem owner'. Again,
no response.

How can I take ownership ( or share ownership )?

Thanks!

Poul Hornslethtag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/419399682017-02-26T05:56:14Z2017-02-26T05:56:14Zeztv gem abandoned. I would like to take ownership

HI Poul,

Thank you for picking up an old gem :)
The current RubyGems.org policy does not allow the admins to
interfere with the ownership of gems or gem names unless they are
proven to be actively harmful to users. I would recommend
contacting the author(google author username) or using a different
name for your gem.
We are working on coming up with a better solution for gem
adoption.

sonalkr132
