I have
tried this fix https://gist.github.com/luislavena/f064211759ee0f806c88

A few days ago it was working fine and yesterday and today, same
issue.

Brent Allentag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/409328582016-10-06T23:27:47Z2016-10-06T23:27:48ZUnable to download...

Hey Brent,
Well, I was able to fix this by downloading the latest from
here:
https://rubygems.org/pages/download
and using the zip to install.

gem v2.6.7 seems to fix it. Still kinda irritating that it just
stops working for no apparent reason.

Karl Krasnowskytag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/409328582016-10-07T04:55:13Z2016-10-07T04:55:14ZUnable to download...

Yes Karl! I just downloaded it and ran the gem update --local
from the gem v2.6.7 directory and it worked like a charm.

thank you for giving me the fix! Much appreciated!!!

Brent Allentag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/409328582016-10-07T13:05:51Z2016-10-07T13:05:51ZUnable to download...

Yes, updating to the latest rubygems version should solve this.
