I honestly can't remember how I originally served up my gem 'honstats' (it's been over a year), however I registered an account today and attempted to push yet it tells me that I don't have permission. Went to go check on here to see if it was one of my contributors, however it appears to be associated to me, but not me, if that makes sense.
limi@limiforge:~/Code/honstats$ gem push honstats-2.0.0.gem
Pushing gem to RubyGems.org...
You do not have permission to push to this gem.

I've added the user that pushed it ([email blocked] /
jmonteiro). Usually for situations like this the original pusher
just got there first and hands it over without much fuss :)
You can use the gem owner command to do that:
