not able to install sass

Can you run the same command with the verbose flag and post the
result here?

not able to install sass

I'm very new to Ruby and get a similar error to the original
poster, although mine isn't a Timeout. I ran both the 'normal'
command and Verbose to save you some time and get identical output
each time:

ERROR: Could not find a valid gem 'sass' (>= 0), here is
why:
Unable to download data from https://rubygems.org/ - SSL_connect
returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B:
certificate verify failed (https://api.rubygems.org/latest_specs.4.8.gz)

If it matters, I installed Ruby a few months ago while testing
some things and don't think I've updated it since, but I'm running
Ruby 2.1.5p273 x64 on a Windows 8.1 x64 laptop.

P.S. Sorry if this should have been its own topic, feel free to
move it if needed.

not able to install sass

It's
sass -v
- you forgot the space.
