Hi there!

So, the author of one of pry's key plugins, "pry-plus", has disappeared. (He went on a holy quest in the name of the lord over a year ago, and nobody knows where he is.)

I've been volunteered by the pry team to take ownership of the gem. qrush can vouch for me. My profile is: http://rubygems.org/profiles/epitron

I was talking to epitron in IRC about this. I am honestly not sure about what to do here. On one hand, we want to allow for the greater progress of Ruby...but on the other hand if this maintainer ever comes back and wants their gem, then what have we done?

The new maintainers could just republish under a new gem name and move on. However there is some value to the old name with references in talks, etc. Eric, Evan, how do you feel about this?
