Updating a gem without the original source?

I'm in a bit of a pickle. About a year ago I made a pretty simple gem and uploaded it. It got about 450 downloads which I'm proud of, but I completely forgot about it up until now! Having switch computers and harddrives, I don't actually have the original source sadly. I downloaded the gem today and grabbed the source from the downloaded gem. I've added some new features and stuff and now want to reupdate the gem. I still have access to the account the gem is linked to! Can anybody give me a hand?

    Hey there,

I'm not sure what you're asking about: What gem, and do you not have access to the account that owns it?
