http://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=www.gemcutter.org

This results in errors like the following:

Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError: hostname was not match with the server certificate (https://gemcutter.org/gems/aws-s3-0.6.3.gem)
An error occurred while installing aws-s3 (0.6.3), and Bundler cannot continue.
Make sure that `gem install aws-s3 -v '0.6.3'` succeeds before bundling.

The gem install command does indeed work. Commenting out

source 'http://gemcutter.org'
in my Gemfile also
works.

Ehsanul Hoquetag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/245377932013-02-03T21:19:12Z2013-02-03T21:19:12ZSSL issue with Gemcutter

gemcutter.org should be redirecting to rubygems.org.

The change of server structure perhaps is why this is happening.
Can't you
use rubygems.org instead?

Luis Lavenatag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/245377932013-02-03T23:55:46Z2013-02-03T23:55:47ZSSL issue with Gemcutter

Yes, that's what we're doing. I just wanted to point out this
issue, since it affects anyone with gemcutter a source.

Ehsanul Hoquetag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/245377932013-02-04T12:34:44Z2013-02-04T12:34:44ZSSL issue with Gemcutter

I'm assigning this to Evan as he is more involved with the new
server setup.

Luis Lavenatag:help.rubygems.org,2010-01-19:Comment/245377932013-02-04T12:35:32Z2013-02-04T12:35:32ZSSL issue with Gemcutter

And I believe he already setup this:
