gem mirror failing with 404 and 503 errors
I started trying to create an internal RubyGems mirror last week, but kept running into the same problem when running "gem mirror -V". I am able to initially download 102,267 gems of the 245,759 available. The problem is:
404 on attribute-kit-0.1.0.gem
404 on engen-0.1.3.gem
404 on alpha_omega-0.0.40.gem
404 on ghostplus-0.0.1.gem
404 on hmx_client-0.0.9.gem
404 on health_check-0.2.3.gem
404 on hmx_client-0.0.8.gem
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::Mirror::Fetcher::Error)
unexpected response #<Net::HTTPServiceUnavailable 503 Service Unavailable readbody=false>
Does anyone know how to get around these errors or what to do to get the entire GEM repository downloaded given these errors?
Thanks for the assistance.

Ugh. Do you have a list of everything that failed?

At the time I submitted this that was the complete list. The download/mirroring stopped when it encountered the 503 error.

Yanked all of these. Let me know if you find more.

On 2/28/2013 I am encountering a "404" error for the gems "milia-0.3.14.gem" and "jenkins-0.6.7.gem". Immediately after encountering that problem I get the aforementioned error:
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::Mirror::Fetcher::Error)
unexpected response #
I still have not been able to download the entire RubyGems repository because of this error.

Let me try that again. The aforementioned error message is:
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::Mirror::Fetcher::Error)
unexpected response #

Something weird is happening with the cut and paste of the error message. It is the aforementioned 503 error message.

And, several more gems giving 404 errors:
routo-0.0.1.gem
rubydraw-0.2.4.gem
scale_down-0.5.1.gem
viewcumber-0.2.0.gem
vj-sdk-0.6.2.gem
