Gem homepage does not show the latest version of the gem
I received no response to my previous issue (http://help.rubygems.org/discussions/problems/1178-gem-homepage-doe...), and I wasn't sure if it was because I responded to myself. I'm re-posting the question here just in case.
Hello,
I uploaded the first version of my gem (tome-0.1.0.pre) a couple of days ago on July 12th. After making some fixes, I uploaded a newer version (tome-0.1.1.pre). When I go to the gem's homepage at http://rubygems.org/gems/tome, it shows installation instructions for the old gem (0.1.0.pre) instead of the updated gem (0.1.1.pre).
If I do a 'gem yank' on the older gem, the homepage just shows a notice that the gem has been removed. Also worth noting is that the 'Versions' list at the bottom of the gem's homepage shows both versions of the gem (0.1.0.pre and 0.1.1.pre) as expected.
Is this a bug? Is this happening because I uploaded the gems on the same day (June 12, 2012)? Am I just missing something? I would expect the newest gem (0.1.1.pre) to be displayed on the gems homepage.
Thanks,
Chris
